Deep local guides to island destinations, starting with Palawan.

Lonely Planet meets a friend who actually lives there. Real prices in pesos, ferry schedules, which terminal to walk to, which season to avoid. I live in Palawan, which is the unfair advantage and the whole product.
Destination, then Area, then Spot, always paired with a map, because these islands are scattered across thousands of kilometres. Not a booking marketplace: car rental, motorbikes, rooms and boat tours surface as suggestions inside the guide, exactly where they are useful, and hand off to WhatsApp with a pre-filled message.
Philippines first: Palawan, then Cebu, Bohol and Siargao. Thailand and Indonesia follow on the same pattern.
